A Cherry Carmex kind of love

I don’t know about you, but I was once an addict of Chap Stic. I’m sure all all of have have been at one point in life or still are a bit of an addict. After reading an article where studies proved over use of Chap Stic and Blistex type sticks actually made your lips MORE dry than non-use. I tossed all my sticks in the trash and called it good. I stay plenty hydrated with my trusty Nalgene bottle. I fill it on average 3 times a day, meaning I get more than 8 glasses of water a day.

Then a typical Maine winter came. Cold, blowing, snow – and dry. The forced hot air heat in the house I was living in at the time dried me right out, it didn’t matter how much water I drank. So I trekked off to Wal-Mart and found Carmex. Not just Carmex, but CHERRY Carmex. Was this Heaven?

It not only replenished my lips, healed the burning that being chapped brought on, but it made them feel good – and I only used it once in a blue moon. Much better than the every-20-minutes I was using Chap Stic or Blistex… It’s been about 5 years since I made the switch and I can say that my lips are extremely happy. I love Carmex so much I have a tube in my car, in my husband’s truck, every coat I have AND my hand bag. They last forever, not because of the size of the tube, but because you only use it when you need it. It works so well, you rarely need it.

I definitely recommend giving Carmex a try! Your lips will thank you!
