For a little over a month now, my gardens have been coming to life. The first to rise through the dirt were my English daisies. The low green leaves popping up through the brown of the dead, decaying ones from late last fall. Small, bright and happy flowers popping up to give some color to the bland contrast of Winter and early Spring.
My tulips are starting to spring up through the dirt. The red-tinted stalks and leaves adding to my Spring color landscape.
Soon my peonies will begin to grow, my bell flowers will start to spring back to life and so won’t my butterfly weed.
It’s hard to be patient for the warm-up to come so I can plant my bulbs that I took up from last fall and plant my vegetable gardens.
