It’s officially happened. I’ve lost my mind. After once again having a long conversation about music a few days ago, and once again feeling a little down about not having followed my dream of writing about music and doing photography in the “industry” I realized… what the heck? Big deal I did move away to one of the big cities and I wasn’t interviewing bands, finding that hidden gem of a singer to write about or critiquing a new album. I could still write about music. Yeah, not on the same “grander” scale, but I could still do it.

So the birth of yet another blog happened. Between my photography blog, Life at the Quarry and the monster of a novel I’ve been working on (on top of my full time and my part time jobs) I had a seriously severe brain fart and jumped in with both feet.

I named it The Soul is Music for one simple reason: My soul is music. It’s my lifeblood and without it, I just wouldn’t be me.
